Our standard material for door plates. It holds fine detail crisply, which is what makes small reference numbers readable, and it takes the matte finishes well.
Materials
The lettering is part of the sign.
Every plate is 3D printed in layers. The room name is not ink on a surface - it is built up in the plate itself, in a second material, so there is no film to peel and nothing to scuff off when somebody cleans the door.
How a plate is built
Two materials, laid down layer by layer on our own machines.
PETG
Tougher and more forgiving of knocks and warmth. We print in it too - tell us if a location is unusually warm, damp or exposed and we will talk it through.
Layered, not laminated
Plate and lettering are printed as one part in two colours. There is no vinyl, no laminate and no adhesive layer between them to lift at the edges.
The finishes we print in
27 plate and lettering finishes, every one measured with a spectrophotometer so the swatch you pick is the plate you get. The ones we are asked for most are below; the designer shows all 27, and your brand kit can lock the set down to the ones your standards allow, so nothing off-spec reaches a plate.

Where they go, and how to clean them
Indoors
These plates are made for interiors - corridors, offices, meeting rooms, bedrooms, classrooms, function rooms, back-of-house doors. Keep them out of direct sunlight and away from anything that gets hot, and they will stay as they left us.
Cleaning
A damp cloth and ordinary neutral cleaner. Because the lettering is built into the plate rather than printed on it, wiping it does not wear the text away.
Avoid solvents, scouring pads and strong abrasives - those will dull the surface of any plastic sign, ours included.
Fixing
Standard plates come with four countersunk corner holes for screw fixing. If you need to fix them another way, tell us before the set goes to print.
What we do not claim
These are printed plastic plates for interior wayfinding and room identification. We hold no fire performance test data for them and make no fire rating claim, and we do not supply them as tactile or accessibility-certified signage. If your specification calls for either, say so before you design a set and we will tell you honestly whether we are the right supplier.
